Delivery drivers B3, Alajuela (GAM) Costa Rica

The B3 Licensed Delivery Driver is responsible for meeting delivery schedules, reporting arrival times for vehicle loading and unloading, and ensuring timely deliveries. The driver verifies delivery guides and all required documentation before leaving the distribution center and negotiates with customers in cases of partial deliveries. They must report delays, accidents, and any conditions that may affect deliveries, while also supervising delivery assistants.

The driver is responsible for receiving and safeguarding payments, submitting all required documentation daily, and maintaining accurate vehicle records. They ensure the proper condition of supplies and equipment, report mechanical issues promptly, and comply with FEDURO’s quality and safety policies, national traffic laws, and internal procedures. Additionally, they maintain order in their work area, assist with periodic inventory counts, report any irregularities, and are required to wear their uniform and identification badge at all times.

Minimum Requirements

• Preferably at least six (6) months of experience driving delivery vehicles, ideally within consumer goods or mass distribution companies.
• Valid B3 driver’s license.
• Ability to manage documentation such as settlement reports, delivery guides, credit notes, vehicle usage records, among others.
• Essential knowledge of national traffic laws and regulations.
• Formal Education: Preferably completed 9th grade (middle school/high school level).
